ARCEP’S DIGITAL BAROMETER: A REAL WATERSHED
Yes, we are living a watershed moment, when digital truly becomes the norm: since 2014, the equipment rate in desktops declined slightly (80% vs 83% in 2013), while smartphone (58% vs 39% in 2013) and tablet (35% vs 17% in 2013) penetration made huge leaps. These changes affect the place of the internet in our daily lives: whether it’s looking for a restaurant, good deals, things to do, the web has an increasing influence on our consumption. This is especially true among younger users: 94% of 18-24 year-olds, 100% of 12-17 year-olds and 68% of all French people connect more than once a day. AND A LITTLE THUMBING OF THE NOSE TO OBAMA’S MOTORCADE WITH G7 TAXIS
Due to the COP 21, the creatives that caught our attention this week are all green. This is because, they are many this week in the streets of Paris. After Veolia’s frog bikes, here are the 3 « Greeny », G7 taxis covered in grass, going through the streets of Paris offering free rides. With a photo contest to boot, the company reminds users of its commitment to greener cars and the importance of its green fleet, the largest in Europe, with 2 400 « Greencabs », all hybrids or electrical.
