HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOCIETY : THE BI-WEEKLY NEWSMAGAZINE CELEBRATES ITS FIRST YEAR IN KIOSKS
The latest newsmagazine, launched in the middle of a difficult context for the press industry, is doing well. Indeed, it reaches an average of 50 000 readers every two weeks and already has 15 000 subscribers. Of course this remains far from the 300 000 readers of L’Obs or L’Express, but the latest born is shaking things up (see below). ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE PRESS : IT SEEMS LIKE PARTISANSHIP IS BACK…
Emmanuel Macron on the cover of L’Express this past Wednesday, March 9th : a strong signal for the new formula ofL’Express, but especially after its necessary repositioning following a 16,6% drop in sales in 2015. The Finance Minister’s reformist will, incarnating that “uncomplexed left”, as in the beginning when the weekly magazine espoused Pierre-Mendès France’s views. We should also note a new birth, also with a partisan slant, Le Progrès Social, (Social Progress), which, 3 years after the launch of its right-leaning cousin L’Opinion, which aims for a positioning “to the left of the left”.

AIR FRANCE IN THE AIR : BACK WITH PRETTY PICTURES !
Air France is launching a new campaign, notably with classy new billboards by BETC. This season, Parisians are being honored, promoting “destination France” worldwide. Let it be known that Paris, no matter how grey it gets, remains the company’s top destination. Therefore, the airline is honoring the City of Lights! We were also delighted by the new Travel by Air France website which gives a selection of carefully curated addresses for each city.Click here for more details.
