INSTAGRAM BRINGS BUSINESS PROFILES TO FRANCE
You will soon be able to change your Instagram profile to a professional profile in 3 clicks. What does that mean? For companies, they will be able to input all their contact details to make contact easier for customers. PINTEREST SPONSORS ITS VIDEOS
Video is becoming dominant, something Pinterest noticed as well. According to the social network, the number of videos increased by 60% just last year. Naturally, Pinterest decided to progressively deploy sponsored videos. The first “test” countries are the US and the UK. The videos coupled with pins will redirect towards brand/product pages. BareMinerals is one of the first advertisers to test these video spots. Check it out here.
NETFLIX MOVING OUT
The SVoD giant is leaving its Parisian headquarters to centralise its European headquarters in the Netherlands, 2 years after arriving in France. This can be attributed to slightly deceiving results (1.52 million subscribers vs an objective of 2 million), but mostly to a more attractive fiscal policy in the Netherlands. The company will nonetheless continue to contribute to French audiovisual production (2% of its French turnover goes to the CNC). Thank goodness.
