(BAD) BUZZ FOR THE PETIT JOURNAL: AT LEAST IT’S IN THE CONVERSATION
After the Barthès era, Le Petit Journal –one of Canal+’ flagship free programs- opened a new chapter with Cyrille Eldin, who hosted for the first time on Monday, September 5th. A new success? In any case, the premiere was heavily commented, with severe criticism on the web and in the press. While Cyrille Eldin wants the Petit Journal to be « more chaotic » and « closer to the audience », it generated a lot of social conversations with over 7 000 tweets. On the ratings front, it started out at 942 000 viewers (3.9% share) for the first episode, dropping down to 725 000 on the second evening… Click here to find out more.
NOW FOR TF1: WILL BARTHES’ ARRIVAL ATTRACT MILLENIALS?
Tonight, September 12th, will be a first indication with TMC’s new flagship program hosted by Yann Barthès: Quotidien (Daily). Aired in prime time like Le Petit Journal, it is a key piece of the TF1 group’s strategy to attract young adults. It isn’t the only one though. The group is also looking to the web to attract millenials. Last Thursday, TF1 became Twitch’s saleshouse, bringing TF1 a key player in online video and e-sport, showcasing the group’s global multimedia and multidevice strategy. Click here for more details.

Launched on September 2nd at the Bread & Butter fashion expo in Berlin, the Muze project will enable fashionistas looking for inspiration to dress in style. BREAK THE MOLD WITH KENZO WORLD
KENZO is offering to discover our hidden personality, revealed by the brand’s new perfume, KENZO WORLD, in a spot directed by Spike Jonze (Her, many music videos for Björk, the Beastie Boys, Fatboy Slim…). The scene takes place at a formal dinner where all of a sudden a young woman breaks away from the norm, goes crazy and starts dancing in the most peculiar way, brutally, spontaneously, personally, passionately. A really original style for the perfume sector, more used to more dreamlike spots: a real call for freedom!
